great sea view but needs dining improvements
The room offered a stunning view of the sea, which was a delightful touch. Breakfasts were enjoyable with a good selection to start the day.
The windows are in need of a clean.

Our stay was somewhat disappointing, especially since we were looking forward to a beautiful stay after a graduation ceremony. Unfortunately, the room we received was in a shabby state, with visible dirt and outdated amenities. The location was good, allowing easy access to the beach and town, but the overall condition of the hotel really let it down.

I enjoyed my stay with great service from the helpful staff. Nowhere was better than the bar area, where I felt relaxed. The food offered was good, especially the breakfast. It was an ideal spot to unwind after exploring the local area. My husband and I appreciate places that make us feel at home when traveling.

Amazing views, but dining could be better!
We had a lovely stay for 2 nights. The sea view from our room was absolutely stunning. The staff were super friendly, and even the breakfasts were really good! Only bummer was the evening meal. it felt a bit overpriced and not what we expected. Still, a great place for a getaway!

I recently stayed here for three nights in a Sea View Double room. The views were stunning, absolutely breathtaking from the balcony. The room itself was spacious and nicely decorated, with charming old-world features. The staff at the hotel were delightful, very friendly and always helpful. The bar area felt cozy, perfect for unwinding after a long day. Breakfast, however, left a lot to be desired. It was self-service, which felt lacking for such a nice place. I had to ask multiple times for items that should have been available. Some food options ran out, and the quality was inconsistent. There was scaffolding outside my window and some areas looked a bit tired. The noise from outside was noticeable during the day, but it didn’t affect my sleep much. I enjoyed my stay but felt the breakfast service needs a complete overhaul. Good service in a lovely historic hotel, but some updates are critical for a better experience.

I had a fantastic time enjoying the cozy sea view from my room and lounging by the indoor pool during my stay. The spa area was a lovely spot to unwind after a busy day exploring, but I did have a little trouble with breakfast not being quite what I expected. Still, don't miss out on the amazing views and cozy vibes – it’s truly worth the stay! 😊

missingWrote a review on Jul 05sea viewhistoric charmrelaxing atmosphererooms cleanliness
The sea view from the lounge provides a stunning backdrop, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The historic charm of the building shines through, making it feel special despite some signs of age.
Upon arrival, the state of some rooms left much to be desired—think dirty carpets, outdated decor, and bathroom fixtures needing serious attention. Issues like windows that wouldn’t open led to trapped heat, making my stay feel stifling at times. I also noticed that breakfast items often ran low and weren't promptly replenished, showing a clear need for better dining management, especially during busy hours. The parking situation was a headache, too. it felt like a game of musical chairs, and finding a proper spot took longer than expected.

I enjoyed the beautiful Victorian décor of the hotel, which added a charming atmosphere to my stay. The spacious lounge area by the seaside provided a comfortable spot to relax and enjoy the stunning views.
More accessible dining options for seniors would be appreciated.
